Nai’s Eatery is a modest coffee stand along Islip Road in North Oxford that offers more than just a quick caffeine fix. Known locally for its solid breakfast options and approachable lunchtime sandwiches, this spot fits comfortably into the daily routines of nearby residents and workers looking for hearty, thoughtfully prepared meals without fuss.

The atmosphere here leans toward cosy and inviting rather than flashy. You’ll find a mix of seating indoors and out, with a relaxed cafe vibe that welcomes both quick stops and lingering breakfasts. A large TV inside suggests a casual backdrop where locals might catch a game or news while enjoying their coffee.

The menu puts a clear emphasis on traditional English breakfast fare presented in various forms—from the generous Large English Breakfast plate to breakfast rolls praised for their quality and freshness. Those who prefer lighter or vegetarian choices can find options like smashed avocado with feta and a drizzle of chili honey on sourdough, which fits well with current local tastes for simple but well-executed dishes. Pastries such as croissants and pain au chocolat add a sweet touch for those popping in for tea or coffee.

Nai’s draws a diverse crowd: morning commuters eager for a satisfying breakfast roll, locals seeking a comfy spot to enjoy a mid-morning coffee and cake, and anyone after freshly made, straightforward meals with a personal touch. The friendly service and an overall welcoming vibe add to the casual charm that encourages repeat visits.

Given its location slightly off the main beaten path, Nai’s Eatery feels like a quiet pause in a busy day rather than a destination spot. It’s best enjoyed during breakfast or lunchtime when the kitchen is at its liveliest and the smell of freshly brewed coffee meets the aroma of cooking sausages and eggs. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in with friends, it’s a reliable neighbourhood place that feels part of Oxford’s everyday rhythm.

Yummy breakfast and other sandwiches at lunch time too, what could be better? Comfy cafe, indoors or outdoors available, big TV. Very friendly service, snacks and sweeties and cakes also available.

5* food, service and atmosphere! Nai’s Eatery is a cosy cafe with friendly service and welcoming vibe. Really great new menu which caters for all tastes with good selection of vegetarian & vegan options. Recommend the smashed avocado & feta combo drizzled with chilli-honey - see pic :-)

We have just discovered this hidden treasure in North Oxford! The service is personal and second to none! Traditional English food full of fresh ingredients, prepared and presented with care, means we will be back very soon! We ordered homemade Spicy Tomato soup with sourdough toast which was phenomenal! Traditional English breakfast in a roll was amazing! Two steaming hot lattes to start which were so good we ordered more! This place is a gem! 10/10!!

Just finished my first (of many in the future) breakfast rolls and it was perfection in a roll, one of the few times I've said to myself I couldn't do a better job myself and I know what I like very friendly great service!

I’ve been to Nai’s eatery to sit in a few times and it’s a great atmosphere and service is always10/10. Nothing is too much, and they’re always accommodating. This was the first time I had a take away breakfast, it was absolutely fab! Would definitely recommend! And if you can’t be bothered to collect you can now order from Uber Eats which I will do next time!! Plus they also serve the best millionaires short bread

I stumbled across Nai's eatery whilst walking the lonely streets of north oxford. I didn't think much of it from the outside but when I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady. She knew how to press my buttons, 'would you like cheese in the baguette sir?', ' Is that all?'. This is service I just hadn't been accustomed to. I would love to rate the food higher but what can you do with a baguette? It scratched an itch I will definitely return!

I visited Nai's at Christmas whilst on holiday. I've recently been back in Oxford and paid Nai's another visit. This is such a beautiful cafe which has fantastic food and great service. It's great to support a local business.
